I will hold your hand during the Sephora sale
Hair towels, skin tint, my favorite eye brightener and more :)
It’s Sephora sale time! Depending on your Sephora membership status, you either get 10%, 15% or 20% everything at Sephora for the next few days. Here’s some stuff I love in case you wanna try something new! This post was updated on 4/4/24.
New things in my cart
My tried and trues:
Crown Affair Hair Towel ($45)
I have a lot of fine, frizz-prone hair and air-drying it used to take a couple of hours. When I get out of the shower I wrap my hair in this towel and go about my morning. It cuts my drying time down so much that sometimes I have to re-wet parts of my hair to reset my waves. I was an Aquis girlie but I like this towel better. Also: Crown Affair’s leave-in conditioner is SO GOOD.
Tower 28 Tinted Sunscreen ($32)
I’m not much of a foundation person but I use this tinted sunscreen when I want a more “makeupy” look. Tower 28’s entire line is acne safe and, according to their website, they’re the only makeup brand to 100% follow the National Eczema Association’s ingredients guidelines. I use several Tower 28 products, including blush, bronzer and SOS Spray. It’s all great!
Kaja Cat Nap Eye Brightener ($21)
I use this over concealer under my eyes. It’s got sort of a highlighter effect and makes me look awake which is always nice!
Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint ($29)
This is the only red lipstick you need. You will need to practice putting it on at first because the brush is unlike any other liquid lipstick brush I’ve ever used (in a good way) and it will take you a few tries to learn its ways. I have this in red, rosy mauve and black and I’ve been eyeing the coral…
Not convinced? Watch this video of Rihanna applying the red shade and see if you come out alive.
Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream ($44)
The only downside to this eye cream is that it’s in a tub (I prefer a pump). Otherwise it’s great. It’s got a verrrrrrry slight shimmer that doesn’t bother me because it adds brightness to the area.
Dieux Deliverance Serum ($69)
You’ve surely seen Dieux’s Instagram-famous eye masks by now. The brand recently became available at Sephora, making it a bit more accessible. Aside from the eye masks, which you should buy during the sale if you don’t already own them, the Deliverance serum is my favorite Dieux product. Note: Their Instant Angel moisturizer is also lovely, just not a match for my acne-prone skin.
Laneige Lip Mask ($24)
I use this every single day. I was a non believer until I got a small sample tub that lasted me months (you only need a tiny bit). You can really cake it on overnight for quick healing of chapped or sunburned lips. Get some minis to keep in your bag!
Fresh Rose Mask ($67)
I love LOVE this mask and I buy it every year. It’s super hydrating, smells amazing and leaves my skin all glowy and nice.
Shu Uemura Hair Oil ($72)
I use this every single day and honestly cannot live without it. The bottle lasts me about a year with daily use. It’s great for smoothing frizz, defining waves and it smells amazing.
Oribe Matte Waves Air Dry Lotion ($44)
I have tried countless air-dry creams and sprays and this is by far the best. It smells great, doesn’t make my hair crunchy and you only need a little bit! After washing my hair, I wrap it in the Aquis turban for a few minutes, part it and then scrunch in one pump of the Oribe lotion. I start at the ends and work it up to just above my ears and then I just leave it alone!
Supergoop Dry Body Oil Sunscreen ($40)
This is my favorite summer (body) sunscreen!
Slip Silk Pillowcase ($89)
I just got a second one of these because I tend to sleep between my two pillows and was sick of half my head looking normal and the other half looking wild. Although it was a very good way for me to see that the silk pillowcase WORKS. It’s also surprisingly easy to wash. I’ve been washing it with my sheets on the delicate cycle and then just air-drying it and it’s been great. If you’re skeptical and want a good entry point, I have a backup set from Amazon that is also good.
