NORMAL! I'm considering buying backup pairs of my favorite boots in case they get discontinued.

What I bought in January (and part of December)

• I’ve raved about these boots on Instagram and in this newsletter. When they went on sale I grabbed a second pair in a different color: lilac! They are comfy and cool and go with everything. Not gonna lie, I’ve been stressed about how much I wear my black pair and if I’ll be able to replace them once I wear them down. What if they get discontinued?? Should I buy a backup pair in black just in case? Do people do this?

• I finally bought oven mitts after finding the absolute best and dumbest ones online.

• After spending over two hours at a flagship Anthropologie store in Westport, CT, I bought this overpriced dress that looked GREAT on me and this over-the-top sequin set that I got on double clearance for $75. Unclear when or where I will wear this but I know her day will come.

• I got these jeans from a recent Ganni/Levis collab and love them. They’re mid rise and a nice, relaxed fit. I love the print too!

• Please clap: It took almost a year but I finally got through my pile of conditioner samples. To celebrate, I treated myself to this one from Oribe and I love it. I normally use Olaplex conditioner but worry my hair will “get used to it” so I like to switch it up (I have no idea if this is a thing and googling it has not helped). Like the rest of Oribe’s products, the conditioner smells amazing. Plus my hair is super soft! Now I can move on to my pile of moisturizer samples.

I do not like this hat.

I love Paloma Wool and am mostly tolerant of Lisa Says Gah but this hat is a crime.

What’s up with these holes?

If you open this link and look at this dress, you may think “oh wow, that’s cute.” But look closely and you’ll notice the HOLES on the sides of the dress. What is up with these holes? Cutout tops (and bottoms) need to go.
