You can fit a German Shepherd in this tote bag
Plus: a note on affiliate links and several questions for Susan Miller
Welcome back to Buy, Bitch! Before we get to the literal goods, I want to talk about affiliate links. Starting today, I will be using affiliate links when they’re available for the stuff I’m writing about. If an affiliate link is not available for something I want to write about, I will write about it anyway! Simple as that.
What I bought in April
Sephora sale! Here’s what I got: These Ouai Bath Bombs that smell amazing. My second Fenty Gloss Bomb because I FINISHED the first one, please clap. This Kiehls tumeric mask that I loved after trying a sample. I’m excited to try the Lord Jones CBD bath salts. Lastly, I felt an extremely strong desire for electric blue eyeliner, so I got this one in “Chaos.” We’ll see if I make it out of the house in this.
I ordered an incredible coffee table from Urban Outfitters in January and it just shipped TODAY. The wood style I got sold out very quickly, now all that shows up on their site is the white version.
I bought two color block prints from Society6 on my phone while watching Grey’s Anatomy, which I recently restarted. This is extremely alarming behavior that I will not address again. I will just say this: Grey’s Anatomy is still on television and Meredith Grey has Covid.
Girlfriend Collective released swimsuits this week and I bought this top in orange. In a moment of weakness, I broke my no Everlane rule and also bought two swim tops from their swimsuit line :(
I bought this dress at Madewell after seeing it in a Tiktok at 4am. It’s great!
Anthropologie’s sale section was an extra 50% off a couple of weeks ago. I got this textured neon pillow for my kitchen bench and this amazing Farm Rio top. A note on the top: It runs big, IMO. The whole back is stretchy. I’m usually an M or L in tops depending on the cut. I got an M in this but could have easily worn a small.
I went back to Ikea lol….I got cushions for my outdoor sectional, this cool tray, a tray table for outside and really cute citrus dish towels that I will use as napkins.
Please look at these giant tote bags
I’m a little obsessed with these giant tote bags made by State The Label. They are 40 inches wide and 26.5 inches long. I need to know exactly who is buying these and what they’re carrying. If you own one or know someone who does, please let me know.
INTERMISSION: Remember when my pal Jill linked to all that suspiciously nice Abercrombie stuff in my first ~guest post~? She’s ahead of the curve, once again! From Insider:
“After years of plunging value, today the brand has a new leader, a new aesthetic, and a new set of customers: The off-duty young professional.
Ditching the privilege and the prep for a more down-to-earth look and refined basics, Abercrombie has emerged a more wholesome and on-trend brand targeted to those entering adulthood, a reflection of the increasing spending power and changing consumer desires of the under-40 shopper.”
I’ve always dreamed of being in the coveted “under-40 shopper” demographic :)

Susan Miller’s favorite things are keeping me up at night
Before I let you go, we need to talk about this iconic interview The Strategist did with Susan Miller about her favorite things. It starts off normal: her favorite body scrub, a Blue Apron subscription, etc. Susan is obviously a wealthy, successful person, so I wasn’t surprised to see $900 Cesca chairs on her list. What brought my scrolling to a screeching halt is the fact that she owns EIGHT $836 pillows and FIVE MacBook Pros. I’d like to be clear that I’m struggling with the idea of eight pillows on a queen-sized bed just as much as the cost per pillow.
Susan, if you’re reading this, please send me one of those pillows and tell me about your MacBook rotation schedule. I’m not judging, I just have questions.
